Assessment Reports
Please note all reports are in accordance with the assessors law manual and accepted practices outlined in the assessors handbook issued by the Division of Taxation.
PT-7 Preliminary Reports (New Homeowners)
The preliminary report is a detailed specific report that reviews the property details. This information is compiled from the property record card, the Deed, Sales Information, and the property’s SR1A Form. The report is generated by a CTA (Certified Tax Assessor) for accuracy and released to the taxpayer.
PT-7 Final Reports (New Homeowners)
Due after February 1st (State date after receiving notice of assessment). Final report includes new percentages issued by the Division of Taxation which are applied to update your preliminary report. The report is issued with instructions to file and your CTA’s (Certified Tax Assessor) extension.
Added and Omitted Reports (Homeowners)
Due within two weeks after receiving added or omitted assessment which is October 1st. Filing deadline is December 1st. All pertinent information is reviewed by a CTA (Certified Tax Assessor) for accuracy. The report is issued with forms and instructions to file.
Comparative/Analysis Appeal Report
The report is generated by a CTA (Certified Tax Assessor) using comparative sales in homeowner’s neighborhood, then adjusted for square feet and amenities using accepted appraisal methods. The report is issued with instructions to file.
Discrimination Appeals Report
